Keqin Huang, Professor
of Orthopaedics, is visiting Professor of Beijing University of
Chinese Medicine, Standing Administrative Vice Chairman of World
Federation of Tradition Chinese Orthopedics, Administrative Vice
President of Chinese Society of Orthopedics, and the Administrator
of Beijing Emperor Special Hospital of Femoral Head Necrosis. He is
also the Dean of Beijing Emperor Institute of Femoral Head Necrosis,
Administrator of Jilin Special Hospital of Femoral Head Necrosis in
Jilin Province. In addition, he is a deputy of People’s Political
Consultative Conference of Jilin City and a deputy of People’s
Political Consultative Conference of Changping District in Beijing.
The government of Jilin province awarded him of the honor of
Distinguished Doctor of Jilin Province in Traditional Chinese
Medicine. He has been a recipient of Special Allowance of the State
Council since 1992. |

His main focus
of research is in the field of bone injury from which he developed
External Fixation With Nail, which includes 8 series and 42
sets of fixing instruments, and has the characteristics of being
minimally invasive, minimal suffering, rapid healing of bone
fractures, and good recovery of the function. He also developed
new therapy for femoral head necrosis which has international
attention. Both the State Science and Technology Committee and the
Ministry of Health issued documents (1995 NO.014 for SSTC, 1992
NO.65 for MH) to extend the new therapy all over the country. He has
gained thirteen patents and nine research findings. He has won
domestic and international awards many times. He has written six
books. The representative works are “Modern External Fixation of
Bone Injury”, “Practical Diagnosis and Treatment for Femoral Head
Necrosis”. He has had the honor of being awarded the
National
Medal of Invention in
Austria,
Knight Medal
in
Belgium, and Cross Medal in Spain. |
